About the programme


Do you need to improve your Business English skills quickly? Do you only have a short space of time available in which to take a course at Active English Academy? Do you need training in specific and specialised language? Or do you simply feel that group training is not for you? We have the answer: our
one-to-one tuition courses are perfect for you.


Course D focuses on your specific weaknesses or language issues and so problems are resolved quickly and easily therefore increasing your confidence dramatically. One-to-one tuition is also a great way to improve your skills quickly, especially when taken alongside group tuition.


Programme content:

 

Our one-to-one courses are tailor-made to suit the learner’s exact language requirements and individual needs. The programmes are personalised, focused and totally flexible.


Flexibility is the keyword for Intensive One-to-One Courses. We recommend a minimum of 15 hours with no maximum limit. To maximise the benefits of an Intensive Individual programme, we strongly recommend that learners accompany their tutors to lunch. One-to-one tutorials can also be arranged in the evenings and over the weekends.


Many students find it beneficial to combine group tuition with one-to-one tutorials to get the most out of their stay with us and to see a rapid improvement in their language skills. You may also decide to take your individual tuition with one or two other colleagues, making a 2-to-1, or 3-to-1 course. Please contact us for further information.


You will also have the chance to join other students in company visits as well as other activities, giving you ample opportunity to practise your new-found language skills and further your understanding of the United Kingdom’s business culture (see Business and Social Programme)

 

 


During your stay at Active English Academy, you will have the opportunity to talk to your tutors or to the Director of Studies about your progress and discuss how to build on your newly acquired skills.
