English course in England – Business English course in Manchester

About the programme

We recommend Course C to students who want to integrate a Business Course such as those offered by Manchester Business School and particularly those offered by the European Business Management Centre at the MBS. It would also be of great advantage to Business Executives striving to improve their language skills in specific business topics and situations.

Programme objectives:

• Gain experience analysing business issues in English
• Participation and cooperation in group situations in English.
• Confidence in expressing opinions in English.
• Increased confidence in asking for clarification, making proposals and asking for feedback.
• Bring effectiveness in English closer to effectiveness in mother tongue.
• Socialise and network with greater confidence.
• Work successfully in a cross-cultural environment.

The varied, hands-on, task-based activities will give you, as a student at Active English Academy, more opportunities to participate during the classes. Activities include role-play, teamwork, simulations and case studies. Materials will be based on input from participants whenever possible.

You will also get the chance to join other students in other activities, enabling you to practise your skills and further your understanding of British business culture (see our Business and Social Programme)
