One-to-One Intensive English Course 1

One-to-one intensive English courses are particularly suited to students who wish to improve their English language skills quickly, have very specific needs in terms of availability, specialist language requirements or simply do not feel comfortable learning in a group.
When taken in addition to group tuition, one-to-one tuition ensures you improve your English skills quickly. Individual English training focuses on the student’s strengths and weaknesses and increases the overall level of confidence.

Active English Academy is closed on the following public holidays:
In 2011: 29/08 and from 24/12/2011 to 08/01/2012 included.
In 2012: 06/04, 09/04, 07/05, 04/06, 05/06, 27/08 and from 22/12/2012 to 06/01/2013 included. There will be no classes on these days.
Programme Objectives
- Increase confidence and fluency in speaking and listening in a range of every day situations both socially and at work
- Develop understanding of grammar
- Work on writing, reading and listening skills
- Focus on student’s personal needs and objectives
- Broaden knowledge of specific areas e.g. engineering, legal, finance, medical, etc
- Develop specific skills
Programme Content
One-to-one programmes are tailor-made to suit the student’s specific requirements and needs. The One-to-One Intensive English courses are personalised, intensive and flexible. Activities are practical and varied, using authentic material to ensure the student has every opportunity to participate and improve his or her skills.
We recommend a minimum of 15 hours with no maximum, each individual student having different needs and availability.
Students may also combine group tuition with one-to-one tutorials to get the most out of their experience at Active English Academy.
Tuition with one or two other colleagues, making a 2-to-1 or 3-to-1 course, is also available.
